I began work at Wells Leisure Centre in 2007 working as a 1-1 swimming instructor. Over the years I have gone through a variety of roles such as Fitness Instructor, Swim teacher, Boxercise, Kickboxercise and Circuits. In 2010 I set up my own Personal Training business and I also began operating as Wells Leisure Centre's Personal Trainer. More recently I have taken on Wells & Shepton Mallet Swimming Club as their Head Coach.

Training Preferences:

My personal preferences on training is to mix it up; get yourself in the sports hall and do a circuit session, boxing the next day, core and balance work another day then finish up with an outside jog. Every client is different so when training I like to give as much variety as I can to make sessions not just beneficial but fun.

I can teach:

  • 1-1 Personal Training, 2-1 Personal Training, Group Personal Training 3/6-1
  • Boxercise
  • Kickboxercise
  • Swimming Lessons/1-1 swim lessons
  • Water Therapy
  • Sports Specific & Goal Specific Programmes

My passion is in swimming so I’d love to spend more time in the pool. I also love achieving those hard to reach goals that require not just physical, but also mental fitness.

The fact that you can go and buy food full of hydrogenated fats for around £1 but walk around the fruit a veg section and I challenge you to find the same deals they have on. Nutrition is a vital part of being fit and healthy so within your training with me we will spend some time on this.

In 10 years time I will be:

Heavily involved with the Amateur Swimming Association (ASA), working closely with the England Swimming Team and also offering vast ranges of exercise opportunities like Bootcamps, Spin Classes, Boxing groups and running groups.
