I have 3 years weight training experience, two of which have been gained by working in a gym environment. I have a great personal interest in the latest research when it comes to training methods and nutrition. I am consistently developing my knowledge by attending REPS recognised training courses. I have applied these ideas to my own training style to gain experience in a wide variety of areas. This enhances what I have to offer to my clients, optimising results and keeping it varied and progressive.

Training Preference:

I use a combination of dynamic warmups and the use of resistant training and HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) to condition specifically for sport, manage weight and improve physique for all types of people and ages. I motivate my clients to work to achieve their highest potential and optimise their results. This also helps improve confidence by helping them realise what they can achieve independently. I will also educate on a healthy lifestyle to promote independence.

I can teach:

  • Olympic lifts
  • Kettle bells
  • Circuits
  • Studio Cycling
  • Running technique
  • Weight lifting
  • Posture correction
  • Sports conditioning
  • 1:1 training, 2:1 training, Group training

I enjoy a healthy and active lifestyle. I support this by training 3-4 days a week and maintaining a consistent nutritional plan. I have a great interest in self development and I am currently committed to expanding my professional knowledge base. As a complete contrast to that I enjoy socialising with friends. This might be through online gaming and social occasions. I also enjoy reading novels.

People believing that there is a shortcut to achieving goals. Hard work and dedication is the only road to greatness. Publications that suggest that there are a 'one size fits all' approach to achieving goals are misleading.

Where I want to be in 10 years:

Start my own independent PT business.

To have achieved my own personal fitness and nutritional goals.

Obtain the highest level of qualifications in fitness, weight loss and nutrition.

Have a family.
