Learn to swim at Strode

The Avalon Swim Scheme offers a fun and safe way to learn to swim for people of all ages and abilities.

*Please note Strode Swimming Pool will be running Swim Britain Training Sessions from Monday 24th June - Friday 16th June at the following times:

Mondays 8:00pm - 9:00pm (Adults Only)

Thursday 11:30am - 12:30pm

£5.00 per lesson (Swim Britain vouchers accepted)

The scheme operates in line with the National Plan for Teaching Swimming (NPTS). Written by swimming's governing body, the Amateur Swimming Association (ASA), this plan sets out how professional and reputable operators should teach swimming.Private Swimming Lessons

All our instructors are fully qualified and will teach people to swim to achieve nationally recognised standards.

One-to-one and one-to-two Lessons: One-to-one and one-to-two lessons are specifically tailored to fit your needs, improving technique and confidence. Qualified instructors deliver friendly, motivated teaching, focusing on your goals no matter what your age or ability.

Adult Lessons: For those interested in learning to swim or seeking to improve their technique later on in life, we offer adult lessons where all abilities are welcome.

Advanced Adult Lessons: For those looking to refine and further develop their swimming technique; lessons are taught in groups to create a friendly and social environment in which to improve your competitive edge.
