What is the Customer Service Excellence Award?

This monthly award will recognise a member of the Avalon Leisure Team who has demonstrated a commitment to Customer Service Excellence based, primarily, on feedback from our customers.

As a customer your feedback is very important to us.  If you believe a member of the Avalon Leisure Team has demonstrated Customer Service Excellence please inform us.    You can do this by giving a verbal comment to one of our receptionists, by filling out a 'Customer Suggestion Form' at any of our Centre's or by using our online contact facility.

Receptionists: Wells

Wells Leisure Centre Reception Team remained positive and extremely professional over a 3 week period from February to March while housing developments resulted in the Centre losing its internet. This was off the back of a very successful January promotion with meant a higher volume of customers without the assistance of the membership, booking or till system.The whole team have been recognised for their continued high standards while faced with a lengthy difficult period.

Allison Hudson (Receptionist): Strode

Allison has been awarded the CSE award for her dedication and commitment to our January promotion. She has both put memberships onto the system and sold memberships unpaid and in her own time due to her belief in our product compelling her to go out of her way to promote it.

Customer Service Excellence Award Winner - January 2015

Alex Bawden (Leisure Attendant): Frome


Alex has been picking up additional hours as an activity leader running birthday party activities for the centre. After every party he has led, there have been a number of positive comments from parents saying how much they have enjoyed it and how Alex does a fantastic job. In January Alex then surprised us all and arrived ready to lead a pirate party dressed in pirate fancy dress that he had put together in his own time. Needless to say the parents and children loved it!

We’re looking forward to seeing what will happen at the next animal party!

Adam Collington (Lifestyle Manager): Frome

Adam has been given the award for his outstanding contribution to his role which has benefitted many customers. He has been working with a Personal Training client that lost over 7 stone, the client then referred his mother who is now on a similar journey. There have also been numerous other centre members that have praised Adam's commitment and dedication to the role, not to mention the vast improvements he has made to the astro turf pitch and goals leading to additional bookings and happy clubs.
