Strode Swimming Pool and Fitness Centre has raised £433.69 for Children in Need.
Fitness Instructor Rich Hill challenged customers to join him in cycling non-stop for 8 hours on the centre’s brand new Studio Cycling bikes.
Duty Manager Emma Higgins said: “We would like to say a massive ‘thank you’ to everyone who took part.
“Our customers are always so supportive when we host this type of charity event, as we do on a regular basis throughout the year to raise money for our corporate charity partner The British Heart Foundation.
“To raise more than £400 for Children in Need in just one day is a brilliant effort.”
The BBC’s annual show raised a record on-the-night total of £26,332,334; £8 million more than last year.
Host Terry Wogan announced the sum at the end of the six-hour television extravaganza on Friday 18th November.
