On Saturday 21^st August Strode Swimming Pool, managed by Avalon Leisure, held its annual BBQ at Greenbank Pool.

There was a raffle, a ‘guess how many marbles in a jar’ competition, pool games, food and drinks. As always, the evening was extremely well attended and everyone had a good time.

The event raised £102.70 for the Mendip Mallards Disabled Swimming Group. The group use Strode Swimming Pool every Sunday.

Avalon Leisure would like to thank everyone that came along to the BBQ and contributed to the fantastic sum of money collected.
