Avalon Aqua encompasses a wide range of pool based activities, including a comprehensive Learn to Swim scheme, Aqua Fit and Aqua Yoga and various watery sessions for a range of groups.
Avalon run pools at Frome Leisure Centre, Strode Swimming Pool and Fitness Centre and Wells Leisure Centre and strive to promote a hygenic, safe and freindly environment at all of our sites. All three of these centres have recently recieved 'highly commended' status from Quest - the leading assessor and benchmarking scheme for leisure centres in the UK.

Avalon Leisure teach swimming in line with the Amateur Swimming Association National Plan for Teaching Swimming (ASA NPTS). This means you can rest assured you will learn from a qualified teacher in a safe environment and achieve nationally recognised standards.
We do not recommend learning to swim anywhere that these standards can not be guaranteed.
